Vivid Dead Demo v0.3 » Devlog
Turns out there were a lot of things I needed to fix, thank you to those who pointed them out.
Bugfixes:
- Able to do up attack while in low passageways getting stuck in the ceiling.
- Onibi(blue flames) dropped by ghosts disappearing, soft locking the player.
- Walls in some areas not having collision.
- Areas not resetting properly when reloading.
- Boss freezing in animation when hit before the fight.
- Items sticking in walls.
- Able to move when at 0HP.
Changes:
- There is now a strong attack button to use secondary weapons without holding forward.
- Added an equipped weapon icon to the HUD.
- Some rooms have platforms added/rearranged.
- MP bar changes position if near the top of the screen.
- The game's texture pages have been resized from 8192x8192 to 4096x4096 to hopefully be more compatible with weaker GPUs since many people have reported lag.

can you make clothing break a little easier to access... i used 5-6 potions a time when trying for any and thats only with the hand enemies... the others (like the monster who crawls) I can never get it to work.
It's scaled the way it is because the player has a low amount of HP at the start of the game, it's not as likely to last as long in later parts. The attacks do damage to clothing differently from how much HP they take also. Grabs don't do a lot of damage to clothing but take a lot of HP, where as slashes and fire tend to take less HP but do more clothing damage.
Oh I see, thank you Kosmic! I'm excited to see where this game goes from here :)
